Gordon Clay here. I found the reports of people with tea bags hanging from the rim of their hats to be absolutely hilarious. All of these right-wing regressives outing themselves for everyone to see. Where were they hiding for the last 8 years?

I think I understand what they stand for - ultimately to find a "White Water" cause to hang their pitiful hats on.

It seems that they want to go back to the Clinton era of tax cuts for the wealthiest 5%. Their against President Obama signing into law the largest middle class tax cut in history. They're against helping middle and working class "losers" keeping their homes - can you say "Lower property values." They must also be against continued bailouts to the county in the form of Forest payments and support for the ailing fishing industry. Against increasing one of the lowest property taxes in the nation because education isn't that important, drug and alcohol treatment programs aren't needed, and we sure don't need any sherrif's in this peaceful county.

What I am wondering is what happened to the bond-fire ceremony to rid themselves of all those socialist pay-outs. I thought they were going to burn their medicare cards, and the $300 stimulus checks, their social security checks and bail-out payments to members of the county's fishing industry.

Someone needs to at least fund a history lesson so these "tea baggers" can understand just how much they are siding with King George versus the Sons of Liberty and the original tea party. Sam Adams would be soooo proud.

Don't get me wrong. I totally support the right to free speech which includes the right to be incredibly inconsistent. March on, tea-baggers. Be out and be proud. As Glenn Beck urged, "Believe in something -- even if it's wrong. Believe in it!"
