SBIRT stands for screening, brief intervention, and referral to treatment— an evidence-based, effective method to intervene in alcohol and drug misuse, but that is currently underused in the primary care setting in the United States. SR22 Insurance
Although the name is misleading, SR22 is not literally an insurance policy. SR22 is actually a form that the state requires drivers to submit to prove that the driver has a minimum amount of insurance. This form is mandated by law. In most cases, the insurance provider files this form. SR22 is simply a document that proves that drivers are maintaining the appropriate level of insurance required by the relevant state.

Anti-Drug Campaign

Media United Against Drugs
One Voice: Media United Against Drugs (MUAD; 2000-2007) was a groundbreaking coalition of local televised and radio representatives and substance abuse prevention experts that formed to create a media-oriented strategic plan to reduce drug use and its consequences in and around Lane County. MUAD members included: KVAL, KEZI, KMTR, KLSR and KEVU, Eugene Area Radio Stations (a consortium of 20 radio stations in Lane County), Lane County prevention specialists and other experts. Media United Against Drugs won local, statewide and national awards for this unique and groundbreaking collaborative to promote health and reduce substance abuse among youth in our communities.

The U.S. Department of Education's Safe and Drug-Free Schools Program has used an expert panel process to identify programs that should be promoted nationally as promising or exemplary. A 15-member Expert Panel oversaw a valid and reliable process for identifying effective school-based programs that promote healthy students and safe, disciplined, and drug-free schools. The panel identified 9 exemplary and 33 promising programs.

The Safer Society Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit agency, is a national research, advocacy, and referral center on the prevention and treatment of sexual abuse. Founded in 1964 as the Prison Research Education Action Project (P.R.E.A.P.) by Fay Honey Knopp, P.R.E.A.P. evolved into the Safer Society Program in 1985, and became the Safer Society Foundation, Inc. in 1995.
